How a Web EDI portal works
The retailer sends a purchase order (ORDERS) through the agreed protocol (AS2, OFTP2, SFTP). EDIconnect receives it, converts it to a readable format and displays it in your portal. You review it, confirm it (ORDRSP), generate the dispatch advice (DESADV) when the goods leave, then the invoice (INVOIC) closes the cycle.
All documents are validated in real time against each retailer's specs — if a GTIN or GLN is missing, the portal tells you immediately, before sending.
