ORDRSP
The order confirmation (Order Response) sent by the supplier back to the buyer.
Definition
ORDRSP is the supplier's response to an ORDERS message. It confirms, changes or rejects each product line: fully accepted, partial (reduced quantity), rejected, or substituted. It reduces pre-delivery disputes and lets the buyer adjust supply planning. Modern retailers (Lidl, Carrefour, Mega Image) require ORDRSP within 24 hours of receiving ORDERS.
