DESADV
The electronic dispatch advice (Despatch Advice / ASN).
Definition
DESADV (Despatch Advice), also known as ASN (Advance Shipping Notice), notifies the retailer of an imminent delivery before the goods arrive at the warehouse. It carries the details of lots, packages (SSCC), pallet numbers, estimated delivery date and time. It is mandatory at most major Romanian retailers to enable cross-docking, receiving scheduling and automated scanning in the warehouse.
