Definition
e-Invoice is the ANAF electronic invoicing system, mandatory for all B2B transactions in Romania since 1 January 2024 (B2G since 2022). It uses XML UBL 2.1 (CIUS-RO) sent through the SPV (Private Virtual Space). EDIconnect auto-generates the e-Invoice from INVOIC or directly from the ERP and submits it to ANAF, returning the ANAF electronic signature for archiving.
