Definition
AS2 is the standard protocol for sending EDI documents peer-to-peer between partners over HTTPS, with digital signature, S/MIME encryption and MDN (Message Disposition Notification) as proof of delivery. Used by Walmart, Amazon, Carrefour, Auchan. EDIconnect operates a proprietary AS2 server certified by Drummond.
