Global Trade Item Number, unique GS1 product code (EAN-13, UPC, ITF-14).
Definition
GTIN uniquely identifies a trade product globally. Variants include GTIN-8, GTIN-12 (UPC), GTIN-13 (EAN-13, the most used in Europe) and GTIN-14 (for master packs). All items in ORDERS, DESADV and INVOIC are referenced by GTIN. Retailers block items without a valid GTIN in the catalog.
